Today, Brenda agreed to volunteer for The Trust in the role of business mentor for a duration of two years.
The Prince's Trust helps young people gain confidence, learn new skills and get into work.
Its mission "To help young people who would not otherwise have an opportunity to develop their self-confidence, achieve economic independence, fulfil their ambitions and contribute to the community through the medium of self-employment."
It supports young people, aged 14-30, who need the most help. It delivers training, provides start up assistance and tailor-made opportunities for individuals and groups.
It has over 8,000 volunteers and staff run the programmes in partnership with others in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
